Recycling – The Distributor Take Back Scheme At BuyRight Electricals we are committed to operating our business in an ethical and environmentally responsible manner. As part of this ethos we abide by The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulation 2006, and are proud to be members of The Distributor Take Back Scheme, which promotes and encourages recycling of old household electronic and electrical equipment. Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) should not be disposed of in household waste, but sorted and recovered for environmentally sound disposal and recycling. As members of The Distributor Take Back Scheme our private household customers can take their waste electronic and electrical equipment on a one-to-one basis free of charge to the nearest recommended recycling or disposal facility. For the purposes of disposal and recycling, products that are classed as Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) are identified by a crossed out wheel bin symbol.
